About The Position

PAM Health is hiring a PRN Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/OTA) for its Jacksonville Specialty team. The role provides direct occupational therapy care to a diverse population of chronically and critically ill patients who may need extended hospital care. Patients range from coma-stimulation and ventilator-dependent cases to those receiving advanced balance and mobility training. The assistant plans and implements individual treatment programs under the direction of an Occupational Therapist, applying occupational therapy principles and practices within the PAM Health system. The position requires flexibility to meet system needs across different facilities. The ideal candidate has prior inpatient hospital experience or a commitment to learn, adapts to clinical challenges, and collaborates with other therapy disciplines. Requirements

Licensed as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) in the state where the hospital or clinic is located.
Current BLS certification required.

Nice To Haves

One year of clinical experience is preferred.
Prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn.
Adaptability, comfort with clinical challenges, and a passion for helping patients at every stage of recovery.
Ability to collaborate with other therapy disciplines.

Responsibilities
