About The Position

This is a travel opportunity for an Occupational Therapist in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The assignment is for 13 weeks, starting on 11/09/2026, with a weekly pay range of $2,306 to $2,347 and guaranteed hours of 36 per week. The shift is 5x8 days (08:00–16:30) and the work setting is a skilled nursing facility.

Requirements

• Active OT license in good standing with eligibility for NM licensure or current NM licensure
• Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• NBCOT certification preferred or eligible
• Minimum 1 year of OT experience preferred, ideally in SNF or geriatric settings
• Ability to work effectively in a skilled nursing facility environment and within a travel assignment
• Strong interpersonal and documentation skills; ability to collaborate with an interprofessional team

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial OT evaluations and ongoing reassessments for residents in the skilled nursing setting
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to maximize independence in activities of daily living and functional mobility
• Administer therapy sessions, monitor progress, and adjust goals as needed
• Document assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries per regulatory requirements in the electronic health record
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (PT, SLP, nursing, social work) to coordinate care and discharge planning
• Ensure adherence to state and federal regulations, payer requirements, and facility policies
