About The Position

This is a travel occupational therapist position for a generalist role in Seattle, Washington. The assignment is for 13 weeks, starting on 11/30/2026, with a shift pattern of 5x8 Days (08:00 to 16:30). The setting is a skilled nursing facility. The role involves conducting assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, delivering therapy sessions, documenting progress, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, and educating residents and families.

Requirements

Active Occupational Therapy license in Washington state or eligibility for WA licensure.
Ability to work effectively in a skilled nursing facility setting.
Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills.
Availability to work the assigned shift and duration of the contract.

Responsibilities

Conduct initial and ongoing occupational therapy assessments for residents.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting activities of daily living, mobility, upper-extremity function, and cognition.
Deliver direct therapy sessions and monitor progress toward functional goals.
Document evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and outcomes in compliance with regulatory and facility requirements.
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (nursing, therapy colleagues, social work) to optimize function and support discharge planning.
Educate residents and families on treatment goals, therapeutic activities, and home exercise programs; ensure safety and HIPAA compliance.
