About The Position
The Occupational Therapist I evaluates and treats patients in accordance with legal and professional guidelines and hospital and departmental policies and procedures. The role evaluates and implements plans of care to improve, restore, and enhance patients’ performance in activities of daily living and functional mobility. The Occupational Therapist also instructs and directs Occupational Therapist Assistants and aides as assigned, and completes documentation and quality improvement activities as outlined in departmental policies and procedures. This PRN position offers day shifts and the opportunity to work at various Franciscan Health therapy locations. It emphasizes one-to-one therapist-patient care and includes mentorship.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited program.
- Valid license or temporary permit for the applicable state.
- Ability to adapt and respond quickly to changing priorities.
- Ability and willingness to work in a team environment.
Responsibilities
