About The Position

Liberty POST is seeking motivated and energetic Early Childhood/Pediatric Occupational Therapists to provide Early Intervention services to children from birth to age 5 in Dutchess County and Orange County, including Newburgh, Port Jervis, and Highland Falls, New York. The role involves working with children and families through evaluation, direct therapy, and family education using child-directed play and a collaborative team approach. Services emphasize each child’s natural learning environment, family strengths and needs, and the diverse population served. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply; Spanish-speaking ability is a plus. Full-time employment is preferred, and part-time employment is available. Liberty POST has provided individualized services since 1994 and is backed by Liberty Resources Inc. The organization employs more than 500 professionals and provides services in New York State and Indiana.

Requirements

Current New York State license and registration in Occupational Therapy.
Valid driver’s license.
At least one year of experience working with early childhood.
Current OT license and certification.
