About The Position
Post Rehab is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join the rehabilitation team at Williamsville Suburban Care Center. This full-time opportunity is ideal for an OT who enjoys helping residents regain essential skills, improve daily function, and achieve greater independence through individualized therapy.
Requirements
- Active New York Occupational Therapist license required
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
Nice To Haves
- Skilled nursing or post-acute rehabilitation experience preferred, but not required
- New graduate Occupational Therapists are welcome to apply
Responsibilities
- Evaluate residents and develop individualized occupational therapy plans of care
- Provide skilled treatment focused on activities of daily living, strength, coordination, balance, cognition, and functional performance
- Establish meaningful rehabilitation goals and monitor resident progress
- Recommend adaptive techniques and equipment to support safety and independence
- Modify treatment plans based on resident needs and response to therapy
- Educate residents and caregivers on strategies that support continued progress
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with COTAs, PT, SLP, nursing, and other members of the interdisciplinary team
