About The Position

Responsible for the overall operation and function of the Occupational Therapy Department. This includes overseeing and providing direct patient care, ensuring productive use of personnel, demonstrating fiscal awareness, and maintaining necessary supplies and equipment for department operations. The role also involves developing and overseeing the implementation of programs for the department.

Requirements

• Certification by American OT Certification Board Inc.
• Licensed in the state of Alabama.
• Complete hospital and department orientation.
• Ability to manage a sometimes stressful work environment subject to varying and unpredictable situations.
• Independent in use of O.T. adaptive devices and equipment.
