About The Position

Responsible for the overall operation and function of the Occupational Therapy Department. This responsibility includes, but is not limited to, overseeing and providing direct patient care, ensuring productive use of personnel, demonstrating fiscal awareness, and maintaining supplies and equipment as needed for the operation of the department. Develops and provides oversight on the implementation of programs for the operation of the department.

Requirements

• Certification by American OT Certification Board Inc.
• Licensed in the state of Alabama.
• Complete hospital and department orientation.
• Ability to manage a sometimes stressful work environment subject to varying and unpredictable situations.
• Independent in use of O.T. adaptive devices and equipment.
