About The Position

PARS Therapy is seeking a committed home health Occupational Therapist serving the South Austin, Texas area. The role supports patients’ recovery by helping restore movement and enabling clients to reach their potential. The therapist integrates promotion, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, intervention, and rehabilitation to improve patients’ quality of life and mobility.

Home health positions provide skilled services to people who meet Medicare home health coverage criteria. These homebound clients receive services from nurses, physical therapists, speech therapists, or occupational therapists.

Requirements

• Active occupational therapy license in Texas.
• Occupational therapy liability insurance in Texas.
• Graduate degree or greater in Occupational Therapy.
• Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities.
• Current knowledge of treatment practices.
• Friendly and professional demeanor when explaining procedures and treatments.

Nice To Haves

• Home health or rehabilitation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled occupational therapy services to eligible homebound home health clients.
• Support patients’ recovery and help restore movement and mobility.
• Apply promotion, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, intervention, and rehabilitation to improve patients’ quality of life.
• Explain procedures and treatments to patients in a friendly and professional manner.
• Manage patients with different types of personalities.
