About The Position

PARS Therapy is seeking a committed home health Occupational Therapist serving the South Austin, Texas area. The Occupational Therapist will support patients through recovery, helping restore movement and enabling clients to reach their potential. The role integrates promotion, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, intervention, and rehabilitation to improve patients’ quality of life and mobility.

The home health position provides skilled services to homebound clients who meet Medicare home health coverage criteria. Services may be provided by nurses, physical therapists, speech therapists, or occupational therapists.

Requirements

• Active occupational therapy license in Texas.
• Occupational therapy liability insurance in Texas.
• Graduate degree or greater in Occupational Therapy.
• Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities.
• Current knowledge of treatment practices.
• Friendly and professional demeanor when explaining procedures and treatments.

Nice To Haves

• Home health or rehabilitation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy as part of skilled home health services for eligible homebound clients.
• Support patients’ recovery by helping restore movement and improve mobility and quality of life.
