About The Position

This is a 13-week assignment for an Occupational Therapist in Salt Lake City, UT, working in the Ground West Rehab Center (ARC). The role involves providing occupational therapy services to patients to promote health and rehabilitation. The therapist will conduct chart reviews, understand lab values and patient precautions, and implement individualized treatment plans focusing on neuro re-education, gait training, cognitive and vestibular retraining. Responsibilities also include assisting with home safety assessments and family training, and contributing to a collaborative healthcare team.

Requirements

• MSPT or DPT degree from an accredited program.
• Valid Utah state license to practice.
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum of 2 years in acute rehab or acute care setting.
• Understanding of multi-trauma and complex diagnoses, mobility devices, and lift systems.
• Strong time management, communication skills, and the ability to work as a team player.

Responsibilities
