About The Position

FOX Rehabilitation is hiring Occupational Therapists to provide one-on-one care to older adults in private residences and senior living communities in Germantown, Maryland, and surrounding communities. Using FOX’s Geriatric House Calls™ model, clinicians help patients improve mobility, independence, wellness, and quality of life. Care may also include telehealth and other virtual services when appropriate. The role offers autonomy to create and manage a treatment schedule, build lasting patient relationships, and work in a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment. FOX offers full-time, part-time, and PRN/FOX Flex employment pathways. New graduates are eligible for FOX’s Emerging Professionals Mentor Program. Compensation depends on experience and employment type; the stated Maryland full-time base pay range is $70,000–$105,000 annually, with opportunities to earn more. Part-time and FOX Flex compensation is prorated.

Requirements

Valid Occupational Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or eligibility to obtain one.
Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
Basic computer and EMR proficiency.
Current CPR certification.
Ability to meet the physical demands of in-home and community-based care, including lifting, performing CPR, assisting with patient transfers and bed mobility, repositioning patients, standing and walking for extended periods, climbing stairs, and performing therapeutic activities.
Ability to drive to patient homes and senior living communities.
Wear PPE when required.

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one occupational therapy to older adults in private residences and senior living settings, including independent living, assisted living, and memory care.
Perform evaluations, develop individualized plans of care, and deliver evidence-based treatment.
Provide therapy that supports patient wellness, longevity, mobility, and functional independence.
Document care in FOX’s EMR system in accordance with regulatory standards.
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and Fitness Specialists.
Educate patients, caregivers, and senior living staff to promote safety, function, and aging in place.
Provide telehealth or virtual care when appropriate.
Drive to patient homes and senior living communities as part of the Geriatric House Calls™ model.
Potentially supervise PTA/OTAs, teach as a Clinical Instructor, mentor new graduates, and contribute written or social media content for additional compensation.
