About The Position

FOX Rehabilitation is seeking licensed Occupational Therapists to provide one-on-one care to older adults in private residences and Senior Living Communities in Sykesville, Maryland, and surrounding communities. Using FOX’s Geriatric House Calls™ model, clinicians help patients improve mobility, independence, wellness, longevity, and quality of life. Clinicians may also provide telehealth and other virtual care when appropriate. The role offers autonomy to create and manage a treatment schedule and build lasting patient relationships. FOX describes its practice as clinician-operated and focused on meaningful relationships, evidence-based care, and abolishing ageism. The position works in an interdisciplinary community-based environment with physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and Fitness Specialists. FOX lists full-time, part-time, and PRN/FOX Flex employment pathways. The full-time role is salaried with benefits; part-time benefits eligibility depends on a minimum-hours requirement; PRN/FOX Flex compensation is paid per unit. New graduates are eligible for FOX’s Emerging Professionals Mentor Program. The stated Maryland base pay range for full-time roles is $70,000–$105,000 annually, with an opportunity to earn more; part-time and PRN compensation is prorated. Requirements

Valid Occupational Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or eligibility to obtain one.
Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
Basic computer and EMR proficiency.
Current CPR certification.
Ability to meet the physical demands of in-home and community-based care, including lifting, performing CPR, assisting with transfers and bed mobility, repositioning patients, standing and walking for extended periods, climbing stairs, and performing therapeutic activities.
Ability to drive to patient homes and senior living communities.
Wear PPE when required.

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one occupational therapy to older adults in private residences and senior living settings, including independent living, assisted living, and memory care.
Perform evaluations, develop individualized plans of care, and deliver evidence-based treatment.
Deliver therapy sessions that support patient wellness, longevity, mobility, and functional independence.
Document care in FOX’s EMR system in accordance with regulatory standards.
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of PTs, OTs, SLPs, and Fitness Specialists.
Educate patients, caregivers, and senior living staff to promote safety, function, and aging in place.
Provide telehealth or virtual care when appropriate.
Drive to patient homes and senior living communities as part of the Geriatric House Calls™ model.
Potentially supervise PTA/OTAs, teach as a Clinical Instructor, mentor emerging professionals, and provide care above bi-weekly quota as opportunities to earn additional compensation.
