About The Position
FOX Rehabilitation is seeking licensed Occupational Therapists to provide one-on-one care to older adults in Germantown, Maryland, and surrounding communities. Care is delivered in patients’ homes and in senior living settings, including independent living, assisted living, and memory care. Clinicians evaluate patients, develop individualized plans of care, and provide evidence-based treatment that supports wellness, mobility, functional independence, and quality of life. The role also includes patient and caregiver education, clinical documentation, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team. Telehealth and other virtual care may be incorporated when appropriate. Clinicians have autonomy to create and manage their treatment schedules and build ongoing patient relationships. FOX offers full-time, part-time, and PRN/Fox Flex employment pathways; compensation and benefits depend on employment type and eligibility. New graduates may be eligible for the Emerging Professionals Mentor Program. Requirements
- Valid Occupational Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or eligibility to obtain one.
- Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
- Basic computer and EMR proficiency.
- Current CPR certification.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of in-home and community-based care, including lifting, performing CPR, assisting with patient transfers and bed mobility, repositioning patients, standing and walking for extended periods, climbing stairs, and performing therapeutic activities.
- Ability to drive to patient homes and senior living communities.
- Wear PPE when required.

Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one occupational therapy to older adults in private residences and senior living communities.
- Perform evaluations, develop individualized plans of care, and deliver evidence-based treatment.
- Provide therapy that supports patient wellness, longevity, mobility, and functional independence.
- Document care in FOX’s EMR system in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and Fitness Specialists.
- Educate patients, caregivers, and senior living staff to promote safety, function, and aging in place.
- Provide telehealth or virtual care when appropriate.
- Drive to patient homes and senior living communities to provide care.
- When applicable, supervise PTAs or OTAs, mentor emerging professionals, or serve as a Clinical Instructor.
