About The Position

Kindred Hospital Lima is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist to provide care in its 26-bed long-term acute care hospital in Lima, Ohio. The role focuses on evaluating patients, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering interventions that support daily living skills. The Occupational Therapist documents treatment and progress, works with healthcare professionals and families on care planning, and educates patients and caregivers about adaptive techniques and equipment. The position requires compliance with safety and regulatory standards and may include other assigned duties.

Requirements

• Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Occupational Therapist license in the state of Ohio.
• Basic Life Support (BLS), to be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• CPR certification.
• Critical thinking skills and decisive judgment.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in inpatient rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.

• Document treatment sessions and patient progress accurately and in a timely manner.
