About The Position
HealthPro Heritage is hiring a PRN Occupational Therapist to serve National Church Residences Bristol Village and Chillicothe. The role involves evaluating clients’ physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities; creating individualized treatment plans to support their goals and functional abilities; educating clients and families about daily activities, adaptive equipment, and environmental modifications; maintaining accurate clinical documentation; and advocating for clients’ needs and access to community resources and accommodations. HealthPro Heritage is a therapist-led organization providing clinical services in settings that include nursing facilities, retirement communities, hospitals, home care, schools, and clinics. The organization describes its culture as collaborative and supportive, with a focus on compassionate care, clinical expertise, quality outcomes, and professional growth. The listed rate is $50–$60 per hour, based on years of experience.
Requirements
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist, or license eligibility.
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Proficiency in developing and implementing effective treatment plans.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to lift and assist patients as needed, stand for extended periods, and perform physical tasks related to therapy.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate clients’ physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities using observations and standardized tools.
- Create personalized treatment plans to meet clients’ goals and enhance functional abilities.
- Educate clients and their families on improving daily activities, including the use of adaptive equipment and environmental modifications.
- Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Advocate for clients’ needs and support access to community resources, services, and accommodations.
