About The Position
PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Katy is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide care to a diverse patient population. The ideal candidate has prior inpatient hospital experience or a commitment and desire to learn. PAM Health cares for chronically and critically ill patients who require extended hospital care. The Occupational Therapist provides direct patient care and plans and implements age-appropriate treatment programs for individual patients in accordance with occupational therapy principles and practices in the PAM Health System. The role also contributes to further development of services and requires flexibility to meet the needs of the System across different facilities.
Requirements
- Licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the state where the hospital or clinic is located.
- Current BLS certification required.
Nice To Haves
- One year of clinical experience preferred.
- Prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate treatment programs for individual patients according to occupational therapy principles and practices in the PAM Health System.
- Contribute to the further development of services.
- Be flexible to meet the System's needs across different facilities.
