About The Position
Burger Rehabilitation Systems, Inc. is seeking a state board-licensed Occupational Therapist to join its Skilled Nursing Team in Folsom. The role is available immediately and may suit candidates seeking full-time, part-time, or weekend schedules. The therapist will plan and provide occupational therapy programs, assess patients’ abilities and medical information, establish realistic rehabilitation goals, and coordinate treatment with the rehabilitation team. The facility has an on-site PT/Director and an established rehabilitation team.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university, or foreign equivalent.
- California Occupational Therapy license.
Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, and conduct occupational therapy programs.
- Test and evaluate patients’ physical and mental abilities.
- Analyze medical data to determine realistic rehabilitation goals for patients.
- Consult with the rehabilitation team to select activity programs.
- Coordinate occupational therapy with other therapeutic activities.
