About The Position
Burger Rehabilitation Systems, Inc. is seeking a State Board Licensed Occupational Therapist to join its Skilled Nursing Team in Folsom. The position is part of a facility-based rehabilitation team, with an approachable, on-site PT/Director. The role is open to on-call, weekend, part-time, and full-time schedules. The organization’s mission is to provide rehabilitation services that make a positive difference in the lives of patients, their families, staff, and the community.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university, or the foreign equivalent.
- California Occupational Therapy license.
Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, and conduct occupational therapy programs.
- Test and evaluate patients’ physical and mental abilities and analyze medical data to determine realistic rehabilitation goals.
- Consult with the rehabilitation team to select activity programs and coordinate occupational therapy with other therapeutic activities.
