About The Position
The Senior Occupational Therapist provides compassionate, personalized occupational therapy to rehabilitation patients, helping them work toward independence and an improved quality of life. The role includes delivering direct patient care, supervising care and treatments, leading assessments, creating personalized care plans, and addressing patient concerns. The therapist takes time to understand patients’ physical, mental, and emotional needs, supports their recovery, and celebrates their progress. The position is part of a collaborative inpatient rehabilitation team with access to technology and professional growth opportunities.
Requirements
- Current state license in Occupational Therapy.
- BLS (CPR) certification, or obtain it within 30 days of hire.
- A minimum of two years of occupational therapy experience.
Nice To Haves
- Active on the Therapy Clinical Ladder when eligible, or specialty professional certifications.
