About The Position

Due to growth, Physicians Rehab Solution is now hiring an Occupational Therapist and/or Certified Hand Therapist for an Outpatient Orthopedics position at Boston Orthopaedic & Spine in Cambridge, MA. Full-time is preferred, up to 40 hours per week are available. Part-time and PRN candidates will also be considered. The ideal candidate should be personable with good communication skills. The Occupational Therapist hired will work in a dynamic outpatient orthopedic setting to treat patients with a variety of post-operative and conservative hand/shoulder/upper quadrant injuries and diagnoses. Full-time OTs should expect to treat an average of 11 patients per day.

Requirements

Graduation from an Occupational Therapy program.
State license as an Occupational Therapist.
Eligible for GA state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
Prior outpatient orthopedic experience working with hand and shoulder/upper quadrant injuries and diagnoses is required.
Must be legally eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

Treat patients with a variety of post-operative and conservative hand/shoulder/upper quadrant injuries and diagnoses in a dynamic outpatient orthopedic setting.
Collaborate closely with referring physicians to create tailored, evidence-based protocols.
Deliver individualized treatment plans using the most advanced surgical and nonsurgical techniques.
