About The Position

The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) is the largest employer in Saskatchewan, employing more than 45,000 staff in a dynamic healthcare environment. This Occupational Therapist position assists clients with physical and/or cognitive disabilities in maximizing potential quality of life by providing assessments, treatments and consultations. The role also involves directing, guiding and evaluating Occupational Therapy students. This is a casual position with no guaranteed hours, requiring availability for a minimum of twenty-four (24) hours per 3-week period, including all shifts, short shifts, short notice calls, stats, and holidays where applicable. Travel is required. The position is located at Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital in Moose Jaw, within the Autism Spectrum Disorders ASD Department. Requirements

  • Bachelor of Occupational Therapy
  • Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license
  • Registered/eligible with the Saskatchewan Society of Occupational Therapists
  • Must be available a minimum of twenty-four (24) hours per 3 week period
  • Must be available all shifts, short shifts, short notice calls, stats and holidays, where applicable
  • Applicants must upload all relevant documents (ex: certificates, diplomas, proof of enrollment, licenses and/or memberships) relating to the qualifications of the position
  • Those being interviewed are required to bring a valid Criminal Record Check (CRC) to the interview; it must be dated within six (6) months and include a vulnerable sector search
