About The Position

Assists clients with physical and/or cognitive disabilities in maximizing potential quality of life by providing assessments, treatments and consultations. Directs, guides and evaluates Occupational Therapy students.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Occupational Therapy
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license
  • BLS for Healthcare Provider (Level C) - Heart and Stroke
  • Registered/eligible with the Saskatchewan Society of Occupational Therapists
  • Ability to work collegially, collaboratively and build positive relationships
  • Ability to develop and deliver formal education programs
  • Decision making through the application of clinical, legal & ethical practice
  • Commitment to continued learning and professional development.
  • Ability to work with people with professionalism and respect
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team

  • Able to conduct a mental health assessment & obtain info from caregiver & family
