About The Position

FeldCare Connects is seeking a self-motivated Occupational Therapist to provide home health services to adults of all ages in the El Cajon area. The role assesses and evaluates patients' functional status, activities of daily living, fine motor coordination, home safety and adaptive equipment needs, and other occupational therapy needs related to their medical conditions. The Occupational Therapist develops a treatment plan based on these assessments, provides interventions to improve patients' well-being, and evaluates their progress.

Requirements

• Ability and enthusiasm to work with people of all ages.
• Occupational Therapist license and registration by the state.
• Completion of an accredited Occupational Therapist program.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services in accordance with state laws, the plan of care, and coordination with other members of the health care team.
• Guide patients in therapeutic, creative, and self-care activities to improve functioning and safety.
• Observe, record, and report patients' responses to treatment and changes in their conditions.
• Instruct patients, families, caregivers, and health care team members in ways they can participate in the patient's therapy.
