About The Position
The Edinburg Center is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist for our newest DMH Specialty Flex program, providing services to youth under the age of 21 with co-occurring mental health and neurodevelopmental needs, using our agency's “Better Together” model. This is a mobile position in communities surrounding Marlborough, MA. The role offers 10 hours per week, preferably available at least 2 days per week, with room to grow.
Requirements
- Earned an Occupational Therapy degree from an accredited institution.
- Licensed as an OT-L.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with a pediatric population.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Flexible schedule.
- Valid MA driver’s license.
- Reliable transportation required.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience working with youth with serious emotional and behavioral health disturbances and their families is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provides individualized therapy to youth and young adults in the areas of sensory integration, fine and gross motor skills, social skills, and self-care skills within the professional scope of practice.
- Provides assessment and direct treatment.
