About The Position

The Occupational Therapist works in a pediatric therapy setting, conducting evaluations and developing individualized treatment plans for children. The role includes maintaining treatment documentation and goal tracking, creating home programs using perceptual, motor, and sensory-based strategies, and supporting interns and volunteers. The position also participates in staff meetings and in-service trainings, with opportunities to lead or present training sessions. Requirements

• Registration with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
• Licensure by the California Board of Occupational Therapy (CBOT).
• At least 1 year of clinical experience in a pediatric therapy setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, document findings, and manage discharge planning.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough treatment documentation and goal tracking for each child.
• Develop and implement home programs as needed, incorporating perceptual, motor, and sensory-based strategies.
• Provide guidance, training, and support to interns and volunteers within the occupational therapy program.
• Participate in staff meetings and in-service trainings, with opportunities to lead or present training sessions.
