About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist with a strong background in pediatrics and an interest in treating both pediatric and adult patients. The therapist will provide services across a diverse population and care for an average of 8–12 patients per day. The role includes wheelchair evaluations, fabricating and modifying splints for upper-extremity therapeutic management, and using physical agent modalities and adaptive equipment. The therapist will collaborate with the rehabilitation team and maintain organized documentation in the Epic EMR system.

The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with 40 guaranteed hours per week and 8-hour shifts. One unit-specific orientation shift is provided, with flexibility based on the candidate’s needs. Professional casual attire is expected; scrubs are allowed. The position is located in an unspecified city and state, and a 50-mile radius rule applies to candidates. No clinical involvement is required for this position.

Requirements

• BLS certification.
• Minnesota (MN) license.
• At least 2 years of experience.
• Pediatric experience.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

• 3–4 years of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy to pediatric and adult patients across outpatient orthopedic upper-extremity, lymphedema, inpatient total joint replacement, general medical, neurological impairment, and mental health services.
• Treat an average of 8–12 patients per day.
• Conduct wheelchair evaluations.
• Fabricate and modify splints for upper-extremity therapeutic management.
• Use physical agent modalities and adaptive equipment proficiently.
• Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to deliver patient care.
• Maintain organized documentation using the Epic EMR system.
