About The Position

The Clinical Rehab Liaison at Encompass Health cultivates referral relationships, manages an assigned geographic territory, and completes patient assessments to help drive growth through patient referrals. The role focuses on developing and maintaining relationships with prospective patients, family members, physicians, ICU and floor nurses, discharge planners, case managers, and payer representatives. The liaison also educates community members and referral sources about hospital programs and services, supports the referral-to-admission process, and identifies opportunities through market analysis.

Requirements

• Current driver's license in the state where employed and an acceptable driving record according to company policy.
• Current state professional clinical licensure.
• CPR certification.
• Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare operations, legal frameworks, market trends, and competitive analysis.

Nice To Haves

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Two or more years of clinical or healthcare technology experience.
• One or more years in a nurse liaison role or successful healthcare sales experience.
• CRRN certification.

Responsibilities

• Develop business census based on strategic goals.
• Cultivate strong relationships within an assigned territory, prioritizing face-to-face connections.
• Aid in streamlining the referral-to-admission process.
• Educate the community, referral sources, and physicians on hospital programs and services.
• Utilize market analysis to identify new opportunities.
• Respond to and overcome admission barriers and follow up on admission variables.
• Conduct in-services and professional presentations to various groups about services and outcomes.
• Complete patient assessments.
