About The Position
Constellation Kids is seeking a School-Based Occupational Therapist to provide services to school-age children in Rocky Hill, Connecticut. The therapist will work in sync with the school calendar and collaborate with school teams, families, and other therapists to help children achieve their goals. Services include evaluations, interventions, and individual and small-group sessions, along with documentation and reports for IEP meetings. Constellation Kids is a family-owned company with over 25 years of experience in therapy and education, focused on providing evidence-based services in a positive, supportive, compassionate, and nurturing environment. Requirements
- Connecticut state Occupational Therapist license.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Pediatric experience preferred.
- School-based experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conduct evaluations and provide interventions for children.
- Provide services in individual and small-group sessions, including leading small-group sessions.
- Collaborate with school teams, families, and other therapists.
- Prepare documentation and reports for IEP meetings.
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings.
