About The Position

HealthPro Heritage is hiring a full-time Occupational Therapist for The Providence at Fairfax, a senior living community in Fairfax, Virginia, offering Assisted Living and Memory Care. The role provides 35–40 hours per week, compensation of $47–$51 per hour, and a full-time benefits package. The therapist will work as part of a supportive, collaborative therapy team and provide patient-centered occupational therapy services. Requirements

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist, or eligibility for licensure.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach.
• Ability to lift and assist patients as needed, stand for extended periods, and perform physical tasks related to therapy.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate clients’ physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities using observation and standardized tools.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that address clients’ goals and improve functional abilities.
• Educate clients and families on improving daily activities, including adaptive equipment and environmental modifications.
• Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Advocate for clients’ needs and support access to community resources, services, and accommodations.
