About The Position
We are seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join the rehabilitation team at Autumn Lake at Glade Valley. This full-time position offers the opportunity to provide individualized therapy while helping residents improve daily function, safety, and independence.
Requirements
- Active Maryland Occupational Therapist license required
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills
Nice To Haves
- Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience preferred, but not required
- New graduate Occupational Therapists are welcome to apply
Responsibilities
- Evaluate residents and develop individualized occupational therapy plans of care
- Provide skilled treatment addressing activities of daily living (ADLs), strength, coordination, balance, and functional performance
- Establish treatment goals and track resident progress
- Recommend adaptive equipment and techniques to support greater independence
- Adjust treatment plans based on resident needs and response to therapy
- Educate residents and caregivers on strategies for safe daily activities
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with COTAs, nursing staff, and other rehabilitation professionals
