This position assesses, plans, organizes, and participates in rehabilitative programs that improve mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and decrease or prevent deformity of patients suffering from disease or injury. Occupational Therapists will also educate the patient and/or family and caregivers on how to prevent further injury or impairment. This role includes patients of all ages (0-100+) as therapists are comfortable and qualified. The therapist will coordinate and direct patient care with the rest of the healthcare team and supervise COTAs, rehab techs, and other support personnel. They will also participate in Occupational Therapy student clinical education and develop/participate in health promotion programs.
