About The Position

FOX Rehabilitation is hiring licensed Occupational Therapists in Boynton Beach, Florida, to provide one-on-one care to older adults in private residences and senior living communities. Using FOX’s Geriatric House Calls™ model, clinicians help patients improve mobility, independence, wellness, and quality of life. Care settings include independent living, assisted living, and memory care communities. Clinicians may also incorporate telehealth and other virtual care into their schedules.

The role offers autonomy to create and manage a treatment schedule and build lasting patient relationships. Occupational Therapists work with an interdisciplinary team and educate patients, caregivers, and senior living staff. FOX offers full-time, part-time, and PRN/FOX Flex employment pathways; benefits and compensation depend on eligibility and employment type. New graduates are eligible for the Emerging Professionals Mentor Program.

Requirements

• Valid Occupational Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or eligibility to obtain one.
• Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Basic computer and EMR proficiency.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of in-home and community-based care, including lifting, performing CPR, assisting with transfers and bed mobility, repositioning patients, standing and walking for extended periods, climbing stairs, and performing therapeutic activities.
• Ability to drive to patient homes and senior living communities.
• Wear PPE when required.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one occupational therapy to older adults in private residences and senior living settings, including independent living, assisted living, and memory care.
• Perform evaluations, develop individualized plans of care, and deliver evidence-based treatment.
• Provide therapy to support patient wellness, longevity, mobility, and functional independence.
• Document care in FOX’s EMR system in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and Fitness Specialists.
• Educate patients, caregivers, and senior living staff to promote safety, function, and aging in place.
• Provide telehealth or virtual care when appropriate.
• Drive to patient homes and senior living communities as part of the Geriatric House Calls™ model.
