About The Position
The Occupational Therapist is responsible and accountable for residents’ evaluation, ongoing assessment, planning, and implementation of therapy interventions. The position offers flexible, casual scheduling based on departmental needs and the opportunity to work with a supportive, collaborative rehabilitation team. It is suited to experienced therapists seeking additional opportunities as well as new graduates, and provides the opportunity to support residents’ independence and quality of life.
Requirements
- Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist, in good standing.
- Bachelor’s degree.
Responsibilities
- Develop and revise plans of care based on residents’ needs, establishing functional goals, outcomes, and discharge plans.
- Plan for residents’ discharge and anticipate their long- and short-term needs.
- Educate health care team members, residents, families, and caregivers about residents’ care plans.
