About The Position
We are seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) for a full-time opportunity at Advanced Rehab at Autumn Lake. Join a collaborative rehabilitation setting where you'll help residents strengthen everyday skills and work toward greater safety, function, and independence.
Requirements
- Active Maryland Occupational Therapist license required
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
Nice To Haves
- Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience preferred, but not required
- New graduate Occupational Therapists are welcome to apply
Responsibilities
- Evaluate residents and create individualized occupational therapy plans of care
- Provide skilled interventions focused on ADLs, strength, coordination, balance, and functional performance
- Establish meaningful treatment goals and monitor progress
- Recommend adaptive equipment and techniques to support daily activities
- Adjust treatment approaches based on resident needs and clinical progress
- Educate residents and caregivers on strategies that promote independence and safety
- Complete required clinical documentation
- Work closely with COTAs, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary care team
