About The Position

PruittHealth is hiring a licensed Occupational Therapist to help patients regain independence, improve daily living skills, and maximize quality of life. The role is based at a skilled nursing facility in Albany, Georgia, and offers full-time, part-time, or PRN scheduling. Compensation is up to $130,000 annually, depending on experience, schedule, and location, with a sign-on bonus of up to $12,000. The position is part of PruittHealth’s post-acute care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and therapy services and offers a supportive, collaborative culture focused on clinical excellence, patient outcomes, and career growth.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current Occupational Therapist license in the state of practice.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Foreign-trained applicants must possess credentials deemed substantially equivalent by the applicable credentialing organization.

Nice To Haves

• NBCOT certification preferred.
• Experience in rehabilitation, skilled nursing facilities (SNF), home health, or post-acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' ability to perform activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Develop treatment plans that enhance independence and functional performance.
• Recommend adaptive equipment and environmental modifications.
• Address cognitive, physical, and sensory limitations impacting daily function.
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Educate patients and caregivers on functional strategies for success.
