Occupational Therapist (OT)
About The Position
Powerback is hiring an Occupational Therapist to provide occupational therapy in an in-facility setting. The role assesses patients’ needs, develops recovery plans, and delivers individualized therapy to restore, reinforce, and enhance physical abilities and independence. The therapist works with patients as individuals, adapts to their needs and care settings, collaborates with peers, and makes referrals when needed. The role also includes teaching patients and caregivers skills that promote independence and productivity. The position reports to the Director of Rehab. Powerback describes its care as patient-centered and individualized, supporting recovery, rehabilitation, respiratory, and wellness services. The company offers clinical support, professional development, and continuing education opportunities. The posted salary is $40.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by ACOTE standards.
- Initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
- Valid and unencumbered occupational therapy license as required in the state of practice.
Responsibilities
