About The Position

Burger Physical Therapy is seeking a state board-licensed Occupational Therapist or Physical Therapist, or a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT), to join its Hands Rehab team at the Davis Clinic. The clinic has an interdisciplinary team that currently includes three hand therapists. The role is intended for someone with hand therapy experience who is seeking hours toward Hand Certification in California or who already holds a national certification. The position is 20–40 hours per week, with flexible scheduling; afternoon hours are preferred. The stated pay range is $50–$85 per hour, or an equivalent salary, depending on working hours, experience, and total compensation. Burger Physical Therapy says it may consider signing or retention bonuses and tuition assistance as part of an individualized compensation package.

Requirements

California occupational therapist or physical therapist license, or CHT certification.
Experience in hand therapy.

Nice To Haves

Seeking hours toward obtaining a Hand Certification in California or already holding a national certification.

Responsibilities

Plan, develop, and conduct occupational therapy programs.
Test and evaluate patients’ physical and mental abilities and analyze medical data to determine realistic rehabilitation goals.
Consult with the rehabilitation team to select activity programs and coordinate occupational therapy with other therapeutic activities.
