About The Position

Burger Physical Therapy seeks a state board-licensed Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, or Certified Hand Therapist to join its Hands Rehab team at the Davis Clinic. The role is suited to someone with hand therapy experience who is seeking hours toward a Hand Certification in California or who already holds a national certification. The position is 20–40 hours per week, with highly flexible hours; afternoon hours are preferred. The Davis Clinic’s interdisciplinary team currently includes three hand therapists.

Requirements

• State board license as an Occupational Therapist or Physical Therapist, or certification as a Certified Hand Therapist.
• Experience in hand therapy.

Nice To Haves

• Seeking hours toward obtaining a Hand Certification in California, or holding a national certification.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and conduct occupational therapy programs.
• Test and evaluate patients’ physical and mental abilities, and analyze medical data to determine realistic rehabilitation goals.
• Consult with the rehabilitation team to select activity programs and coordinate occupational therapy with other therapeutic activities.
