About The Position
Ampersand Therapy is hiring a part-time Occupational Therapist (OT) for a school-based position in Redmond, Washington for the 2026–2027 school year. Requirements
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current Washington State Occupational Therapist license
- Active Washington ESA Certification
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to provide in-person services at multiple school locations
Nice To Haves
- School-based or pediatric experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Conduct occupational therapy evaluations to determine students' educational needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in educational settings
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, families, and related service providers
- Recommend adaptive equipment, assistive technology, and classroom accommodations
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaboration
- Support students in developing fine motor, sensory processing, visual-motor, self-care, and functional skills that promote educational success
