About The Position

Saint Joseph's Medical Center is seeking a full-time and/or part-time Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for the '26-'27 school year. The OT or COTA will provide intervention for children in the Yonkers Public Schools and possibly the student's homes, document sessions and progress, prepare Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and maintain ongoing communication with parents, guardians and teachers. OTs will also evaluate students and may have the opportunity to provide supervision to, and documentation for, COTAs. Interested therapists may also have the chance to provide aquatic therapy to students. The population served is pediatric (5-21 years old).

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong communication skills; written and verbal.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Flexibility.
• New York State Occupational Therapy or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant License required.
• Bachelor's or Master's of Science degree from an Occupational Therapy program.
• Must provide references.
• Must provide writing samples.
