About The Position

Therapy Management Corporation (TMC) is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist Assistant to provide community-based outpatient therapy to Medicare Part B patients in Assisted Living and Independent Living Communities. The role focuses on patient-centered care, functional independence, mobility, safety, and quality of life. Clinicians can build long-term relationships with patients, follow progress over time, and practice with clinical autonomy in a supportive therapy team environment.

Requirements

Licensed Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) or eligible for licensure in the state of practice.
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program.
Passion for patient-centered care and improving quality of life for older adults.

Interest or experience in geriatric rehabilitation or senior living therapy.

Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat residents in Assisted Living and Independent Living Communities.
Develop personalized care plans focused on functional independence, safety, and quality of life.
Provide care through therapeutic activities, ADL/IDL training, and adaptive techniques.
Help patients improve daily activities such as dressing, bathing, grooming, and meal preparation.
Collaborate with care teams, staff, and caregivers to achieve strong patient outcomes.
Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
