About The Position
In collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, the Occupational Therapist provides therapeutic services, including evaluation, treatment, and education. The role monitors the treatment activities of certified occupational therapy assistants (COTAs) and aides. This is a part-time PRN position at Ludington Hospital, with day shift hours and four scheduled hours per week.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Graduate from an accredited occupational therapy school.
- Successful completion of a clinical internship.
- Previous clinical or rehabilitation experience.
- Michigan Occupational Therapist license required upon hire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required upon hire.
Responsibilities
- Provide therapeutic services in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, including evaluation, treatment, and education.
- Monitor the treatment activities of COTAs and aides.
