About The Position

Sobe Innovative Rehab is seeking a compassionate, licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide skilled occupational therapy services to older adults in their homes in Inverness, Florida. The role focuses on helping patients maintain independence, improve quality of life, and remain safely at home through geriatric care.

This is a PRN, as-needed role. Therapists may choose assignments that fit their availability. The position offers a home-based setting, one-on-one therapy, competitive compensation, clinical autonomy, collaborative support, and transparent payment reporting.

Requirements

• Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Active Florida COTA license.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Compassionate approach to working with geriatric patients.

Nice To Haves

• Two years of clinical experience is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled occupational therapy treatments under the established plan of care.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patients' functional independence and safety.
• Communicate with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Recommend and/or provide appropriate treatment equipment and adaptive devices as needed.
• Educate patients and caregivers on strategies to support independence and safety at home.
