APRN – NP or Physician Assistant: Occupational Health Provider – Employer Health Clinic OPT
About The Position
Froedtert ThedaCare Health – Workforce Health is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to provide comprehensive primary care and occupational health services in onsite employer health clinics across the Milwaukee metro area and Eastern Wisconsin. The role is part of a population health-focused program that supports employee health, wellness, and workforce health initiatives. The provider will build meaningful patient relationships, manage an individual patient panel, and practice with a high degree of autonomy. The role is supported by an experienced APP Medical Director, a multidisciplinary team, and the resources of an integrated health system. The position offers an optional part-time schedule that varies, with no weekends, no call responsibilities, and no expectation of working outside scheduled clinic hours.
Requirements
- Be an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA).
- Have Family Medicine experience working independently with patients of all ages.
Responsibilities
- Deliver primary care and occupational health services in onsite employer health clinics.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions across the lifespan.
- Focus on preventive care, wellness, and population health outcomes.
- Collaborate with employers to support workforce health initiatives.
- Use evidence-based medicine to improve patient outcomes and engagement.
- Maintain continuity of care through relationship-focused practice.
- Manage an individual patient panel.
