Requirements

Board Certified or truly Board Eligible (within 1 year of graduation).
Active Ohio license.
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
Minimum of 50 deliveries in the last 12 months, including at least 5 C-sections.
Completion of an ABOG (American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology) or AOA-accredited OB/GYN residency.
Hospital privileges required.
Clean malpractice/licensure history preferred.

Nice To Haves

Experience with low risk pregnancy complications (History of Twins, Toxemia, Pyelonephritis, etc.).
Experience with breech and multiple births.
Experience managing abruptions.

Responsibilities

Provide 24-hour call coverage for Obstetrics & Gynecology.
Manage low and occasional high-risk deliveries.
Perform routine and complicated deliveries, including vaginal, low forceps, and C-sections.
Interpret FHR (Fetal Heart Rate) using NST (Non-Stress Test) and FSE (Fetal Scalp Electrode).
Perform and interpret OB ultrasounds (Level I/Screening and Level II/Targeted).
Repair 3rd and 4th-degree lacerations as required.
Admit patients, with an average of 1 nursery admission per day.
Collaborate with nursing staff and APPs (Advanced Practice Providers).
