About The Position
WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon, PA is seeking an Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB/GYN) physician for ongoing locum tenens coverage. This role involves providing 24-hour in-house call coverage for approximately 10 days per month, focusing on Labor & Delivery and hospital-based OB-GYN care. The physician will serve as the primary OB/GYN while onsite, managing routine and high-risk obstetrical and gynecologic patients, including deliveries, C-sections, and emergency procedures. Support staff includes certified midwives and Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) consultation is available. The hospital has a 163-bed capacity and a Newborn Nursery, but no NICU. Epic is the EMR system used.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN
- Active Pennsylvania License
- DEA required
- Minimum 1 year of experience

Responsibilities
- Provide 24-hour in-house call coverage for Obstetrics & Gynecology.
- Serve as the primary OB/GYN while onsite.
- Manage routine OB care, high-risk deliveries, labor management, and postpartum care.
- Perform vaginal deliveries, VBACs, Cesarean sections, and emergency obstetrical procedures.
- Handle phone consults and admissions.
- Participate in rounding.
- Provide emergency OB/GYN coverage.
