About The Position
This is a Locum Tenens position for an Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician at Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital in Arlington, TX, affiliated with Diana Health. The role involves providing clinical care and being on call for a 13-week period, starting November 9, 2026, and ending February 8, 2027. The physician will manage a high volume of births annually and handle a mix of obstetric and gynecologic concerns, including high-risk pregnancies. The facility is a 369-bed hospital with robust specialty backup available 24/7, including neonatology, anesthesia, OB/GYN Hospitalists, Certified Nurse Midwives, and Family Medicine Physicians. The position requires evaluating and treating patients in the Obstetric Emergency Department (OBED), managing unassigned OB/GYN patients, monitoring labor, performing vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections, providing consults, and responding to emergencies.
Requirements
- Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Texas Medical License
- Universal License (IMLC)
- Completion of an accredited ACGME OB/GYN residency program with robotics training
- Recent delivery and surgical experience required

Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients in the Obstetric Emergency Department (OBED)
- Manage care for unassigned OB/GYN patients and monitor labor
- Perform vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections
- Provide consults to the Emergency Department and medical floors for pregnancy-related and gynecologic concerns
- Respond to obstetrical emergencies and participate in emergency drills and quality improvement initiatives
