About The Position
This is a Locum Tenens position for an Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician at a hospital in Cottonwood, AZ. The role requires clinical coverage plus 24-hour beeper call during specified periods in June, July, and October/November 2026. The physician will manage deliveries, respond to obstetrical emergencies, cover for Nurse Midwives when necessary, handle callbacks, and collaborate with hospital staff using the Cerner EMR system.
Requirements
- Active AZ license or Universal License (IMLC)
- BC/BE in OB/GYN
- DEA required
- Minimum 1 year experience
Responsibilities
- Provide 24-hour beeper call coverage for obstetrics and gynecology
- Manage deliveries (0-1 per shift) and respond to obstetrical emergencies
- Cover for Nurse Midwife when needed
- Respond to callbacks (0-2 per shift) and provide patient care
- Collaborate with hospital staff and utilize Cerner EMR system
