About The Position

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is hiring an Obstetrics and Gynecology Technologist to join the High Risk Labor & Delivery team. This position is full-time, 36 hours per week, day shift. Under the guidance and direction of a Registered Nurse, this role is responsible for assisting in nursing care and surgical services in the maternity services area. This includes providing patient care necessary for comfort, hygiene, data collection, and documentation, based on accepted standards of operating room and obstetrical practice, and performed within the scope of education, training, and experience.

Requirements

LPN diploma (required)
Associates degree - Surgical Technologist (required)
Licensed Practical Nurse (required)
Certified Surgical Technologist (required)
1 year of experience as a LPN or Surgical Technologist (required)

Nice To Haves

Experience assisting with OB/GYN procedures

Responsibilities
